Southside Valdosta, Georgia Troup Street Along with District 1. "Councilman James Wright" March 12, 2012

"VALDOSTA, GEORGIA"
South Troup Street
&
Voters Elected Officials!

We were extremely happy to see Valdosta Councilman James Wright take a stand for the people and voters in District 1 and on the South Side in general that has been ignored for too long.  There are Black African Americans in our community that believed that if we had Blacks on Valdosta City Council that they would stand up for what other communities but many citizens has been sadly disappointed and was happy to see Councilman Wright take a stand on their behalf.

Valdosta City Councilman James Wright finally stood up for the people of District 1 and the South Side in particular.  For too long these ills has been allowed to be ignored and it is in deed time for ACTION!  Moreover, it is no secret that the same ill conditions that Councilman Wright brought before Valdsota City Mayor and Council Members are well known by all elected officials.

The problems Councilman Wright highted are well known by citizens on the South Side of the economically oppressed across the rail road tracks.  All one has to do is look on this blog and see how many times these same problems has been addressed by me "GEORGE BOSTON RHYNES".

Although, our local news media did not see it as news and failed to publish pictures and addreses to our elected officials at public meetings.  There can be no rebuttal to the truth of this matter being exposed and reported at public meetings but has been ignroed.  I remain 100% sure that Valdosta-Lowndes County will be forced to move our Metro City into the arena with other Georgia Metro Citizens wherein all communities are respected as equals under our form of government.

We must not forget that Valdosta-Lowndes County is leading the State of Georgia in jail deaths with 30 plus jail deaths since 1994-2009.  Without local news media reporting anything on this hot bed issue and we can only wonder why this silence.  It seems as if they want the general public ignorant to what is going on in their beloved community.  Or that our governmental bodies does not want voters informed so they can make intelligent decisions based on facts.  But the bottom line rest with voters for not holding their elected officials accountable for their actions or lack thereof.  GBR
Not even a yellow line is visible in the middle of the highway on South Troup Street and we can only ask where is the council member that serves the needs of citizens?  Just keeping it real in times like these.
